Summer is simply my most favorite time of year, not just because it includes my birthday :) but because of:
homemade lemonade
flip flops
swimming-pool, lake, ocean
sundresses
beach hair
cookouts
tan lines
beach trips
camping
homemade icecream
lemon poundcake (my grandma makes me one every year for my bday)
fireworks
dinner and movie dates (all the good movies come out in summer!)
Adam and I took the pups for a walk last night in downtown. It was so nice to be outside walking as the day was cooling off and to just smell summer...you know that smell right?! The pups were excited, too!
